Developers can select reasoning effort levels ranging from low to max, balancing compute cost against depth of analysis. GPT-6 Astra also includes computer-use capability, letting it operate browsers and software interfaces to complete multi-step tasks such as form entry, testing and navigation between screens.
OpenAI reports GPT-6 Astra scored 98 percent on FrontierMath Tier 4, 99.9 percent on ARC-AGI-3 and 100 percent on ExploitBench. On computer-use benchmarks, the model reached 72.6 percent on OSWorld 2.0 and 92.7 percent on ScreenSpot-Pro, and it scored 57.9 percent on Terminal-Bench 4.0, according to OpenAI’s published results.
OpenAI lists standard pricing for GPT-6 Astra at $10 per million input tokens and $50 per million output tokens, with cached input priced at $1 per million tokens. CometAPI offers the model starting at $8 per million input tokens and $40 per million output tokens for requests under 272,000 tokens of context, a rate the company states runs 20 percent below the official price.
